This episode may be about hope. UAF ecologist emeritus Terry Chapin is a widely respected scientist. He is also highly regarded for his engagement on the social implications of climate change. In 2019 he garnered the prestigious Volvo Environment Prize. This year Oxford University Press is out with a new book by Terry, Grassroots Stewardship: Sustainability within our Reach. I’ve been asked to moderate a UAF on-line discussion of the book’s themes this Thursday.
