Welcome to the final episode of this summer’s Memory Lane discussions. I’m pleased Dorothy Jones agreed to sit down with me. She doesn’t like talking about herself, but her passion for her family, the power of education to improve lives and the importance of social justice makes this conversation a wonderful cap to the series.
I love woman! She so special to me and my family! She has touched so many lives here in Fairbanks and elsewhere! God protect her and many blessings to Mrs. Dorothy Jones❤️👍🏾🌹🤗

I so appreciate Professor Dorothy Jones. She is not aware of it, but she was my first mentor. Her style and demeanor has stuck with me throughout the years. I have found myself in professional positions asking myself, how would Dorothy Jones behave in this situation? What questions would she present to me if she were here?
What a great woman! When I was president of the Black Student Union at UAF ’89/’90, she was always available for guidance and support.
